Here at NJ Bergen Doodle’s we are a home based hobby breeder. We are not a commercial breeder, we have one Dame Juji and one Sire Sacha.  We do plan to add one more Dame

in the near future, but we only want to pursue breeding for the enjoyment of the puppies and the upset that it adds to our home.

           What we want to accomplish is a golden retriever colored, and mannered puppy with the intelligence, hypoallergenic, and athleticism of a poodle.

           Our breeding choice is to have pure hybrid Golden Doodles. We do not back breed, that is we will always breed our Golden female to our male Poodle. The resultant puppies are known as F1 hybrid animals. Some breeders choose to back breed to enhance particular characteristics, we do not do this. Back breeding is not bad as long as it is done with distant lineage animals.

           As F1 hybrids the puppies enjoy all the benefits of what is called hybrid vigor. Hybrid vigor is the effect that occurs when distinct breeding lines are combined to form a new breed that minimizes or eliminates the line bred negative traits associated with specific breeds.

           Simply put hybrid animals tend to be healthier than either of their parents lines. Fewer problems and more enjoyment.

           Our puppies run the gamut from very wavy haired to almost straight haired. Their coloring is from buff or a light tan to a reddish honey color. Their dispositions are all curious, with varying degrees of assertiveness, and shyness. Some think they are lap dogs and some want to run and play.          

           All of our puppies come with a two year health guarantee. We will provide you with a refund or the next available puppy. The choice is yours.
